The History of Restaurant Hama
For twenty years, Restaurant Hama has been one of the most popular area sushi
bars in Venice Beach, California, enticing customers with fresh, high-quality
sushi as well as unique California-Japanese and French-Japanese specialties. Founded
in 1979, Hama has come to represent sushi at its finest, providing
delicious food in an eclectic Los Angeles atmosphere that is complete with star
sightings, fine Japanese spirits, and of course, delicious food.
From the culmination of this experience, Hama now brings its concept to the people
of Columbus, Ohio, with the grand opening of Restaurant Hama at Easton Town Center in 2000. Headed by executive sushi chef Scott Kim, general
manager of the Columbus restaurant, Restaurant Hama serves a full range of traditional
as well as specialty dishes. Restaurant Hama has a mission to spread the joy of
Japanese cuisine infused with a distinct California style, using a unique blend
of fresh, healthy ingredients to produce a modern image of Japanese cuisine in
a lively, entertaining atmosphere while educating people about, and promoting,
quality Japanese food.
Featuring a full sushi bar with live chefs that create beautifully presented
seafood delicacies, an extensive sake, beer and wine menu, and traditional tempura
and teriyaki dishes, the flavors of Japanese cuisine at Hama are at their finest.
In addition, featured California-Japanese fusion cuisine dishes are meticulously
prepared to entice the tastes of all guests. In all, Restaurant Hama is the perfect
spot to combine a quality fine-dining experience with a lively and welcoming ambience. |
